Even though most people here speak perfect English, the fact that I do not speak Danish interrupts my life in the following ways:
-Amnesty Int'l won't let be volunteer because they work in Danish
-I cannot buy packaged foods because I have no idea how to prepare them
-Have no idea what's going on in with student life because most of the fliers are in Danish
-menus are... challenging
-when helping with children's activities at Chabad, being attacked by a swarm of small children asking me things in Danish.
